I got this harness for my collie mainly because I like going in the mountains and rocky terrain and thought the handle was a good idea for helping Rudi along. And it works fantastically. I can lift him easily over everything. The harness is snug and sits very well. Also, he is a bit of an escape artist, but no chance of getting out of this one... except if the straps are not done up tight. However, my two complains about this harness is first of all that I have to keep tightening the straps when I go out. They don't come lose when we are out but its annoying having to always reset it. The other complaint is that the ring for attaching the lead to is not stainless steel. I live by an estuary so the dog is in salty/brackish water a lot. Consequently the ring is falling apart and the harness is not a year old yet! I will have to fit a stainless steel D ring to it myself soon. At this price I expected the harness to be perfect with no such issues. It is a good harness nonetheless.
